At Al Ain service point, a training program on the criteria of Sheikh Khalifa Functional Excellence Award organized by Emriates Identity Authority was organized with the participation of 30 employees.
This program is designed to inform the trainees of Sheikh Khalifa Award Criteria and how to prepare for it, make trainees aware of the SWOT analysis, identifying the skills required to develop action plans as per the Award criteria, develop KPIs for excellent performance and make trainees aware of the RADAR.
The training programs includes a number of elements on the top of which is the identification of Sheikh Khalifa Award for Government Excellence, including the criteria of Leadership, Policies & Strategies, Process Management, Customer Results, HR results and Community Performance results.
The training program seeks to raise the level of awareness on the professional excellence systems and importance of Sheikh Khalifa Award for Government Excellence, identify the criteria of the European standard of Quality Management and its relation to Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award Program, self-evaluation mechanisms of government organizations and how to develop and measure KPIs.
The program, which will last until next Thursday, includes a number of workshops aiming at developing self-assessment skills and actual steps to develop an action plan to increase its efficacy and how to prepare a concept to communicate and manage knowledge in the organization and the methods of measuring personnel needs.
The second element of the training program focuses on the leader's role to develop the institutional vision, mission and values and his/her role to change and create an enabling environment for creativity and how to develop and implement the strategic plan and action plans that contribute to developing work at the organization as well as developing and measuring KPIs.
This element also focuses on the leader's role to facilitate, develop and follow work, develop, review and update future plans as per the requirements of Sheikh Khalifa Award.
