Emirates Identity Authority announced that diplomat registration in the ID Card and Population Register is optional due to the speciality of diplomatic work and the nature of laws and regulations organizing their work and residence in the UAE.
Emirates Id clarified that all service points throughout the UAE welcomes the diplomats who desire to register in the ID Card according to the registration procedures set by Emirates ID. These procedures will be circulated to all embassies and consulates operating in the UAE.
On the other hand, Emirates ID invited all UAE people and residents who spend their summer vacation in the UAE to make use of this period of time and rush to register in the ID Card and Population Register.
As for the implementation of the initiatives and elements of the New Registration Strategy, Emirates ID renewed its commitment to provide high-quality and advanced services for all customers in service points and authorized Typing Centres so that they can register in the ID Card easily and smoothly.
