Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates ID) organized a workshop on excellence according to the benchmarks of Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program in the framework of Emirates ID's preparations to participate in this pioneering national program, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Eng. / Alim Mohamed Al Khourly, the deputy chairman of the Emirates ID's Higher Management Committee.
Dr. Abdel Karim Darwish, management expert and consultant, presented a detailed presentation in which he explained the objectives of holding this sepcialized workshop and the practices that can be utilized in forming the participation document of the Emirates ID in Sheikh Zayed Government Excellent Program.
The administrative expert addressed a set of hubs including the application of leadership benchmark and strategy benchmark referring to the outstanding and effective role that should be carried out by the Senior Management in forming the culture of excellence and spreading it within the Agency in addition to instilling related values in the staff.
In his presentation, Dr. Abdul-Kharim Darwish reassured the importance of dealing with the Excellence Program as an integral part of work. This program is supported by the Senior Management who keens on creating mechanisms and tools emphasizing the abilities of managers to implement the initiatives set out in the strategy in addition to their important role in achieving its objectives.
The lecturer reviewed a range of tools through which the aspects of excellence can be monitored, in addition to the mechanisms contributing to supporting and embodying these aspects with actions. The lecturer also referred to the importance of convincing the Senior Management and all staff of any agency that excellence means continuous development and improvement.

Youssef Al Baloushy, executive manager of registration centers, H.E. Hassan Nagaty, organization and administrative development consultant, H.E. Ayman Ghoneim, quality consultant, Mr. Mohamed Gharib Al Shamasy, purchases manager, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Memary, public relations and marketing manager and Ms. Khawala Al Tayer, HR manager.
