The Emirates ID participated in the introductory seminar organized by the Cabinet Office, affiliated to the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs to discuss UAE Vision 2021 and identify the UAE government strategy 2021 - 2013 which concluded its proceedings at Mina A Salam Hotel, Dubai, on Wednesday (yesterday morning).
The features of the UAE Strategy 2011 – 2013, which gives the first priority to the UAE national, were highlighted. Such Strategy is derived from the wise directions of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE (May Allah protect him) and his continuous emphasis on putting the UAE national at the heart of strategy and its main objectives. The federal government derived its vision from such directions, through which the government will make every effort to be an effective, responsible, flexible and creative government that aspires to the future.
The strategic directions of the federal government, which were launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum UAE Prime Minister and Vice-President, and Ruler of Dubai (May Allah protect him), are considered a crowning for the previous efforts and the comprehensive studies on the outcomes of the first session 2007 - 2010. They are also considered a comprehensive review for the outcomes of the workshops held for all federal ministries, authorities and organization and an assessment for all the initiatives that have been launched.
The esteemed Cabinet of the United Arab Emirates approved a historic national document aims at improving the country to be one of the best countries in the world by 2021 in coincidence with the country's celebration to mark the fifty anniversary of the Union Day through a roadmap round the years 2011 – 2021.
It is worthy mentioning that such vision follows the approach of the UAE's founder fathers, and is derived from the national work program launched by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE (May Allah protect him) and approved by their highnesses the members of the Supreme Council and rulers of the emirates. The document related to the UAE Vision 2011 - 2021 was issued on 7 February 2010 following the Cabinet closed meeting which was held In Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort at Liwa, Abu Dhabi. The document included an introduction and four main item.
The Introductory Seminar was attended by His Excellency Dr. Eng. Ali Mohammed Al Khouri, Higher Management Committee Chairman Deputy, His Excellency Youssef Al Bloushi, Executive Director of Registration Centers, His Excellency Hatem Al Hamly, the Chief Financial Officer as well as His Excellency Hassan Najaty, Advisor of Organization and Administrative Development.
