Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates ID) has organized the first introductory meeting for its coming participation in Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program. Such meeting is incorporated in the plan of action prepared by the Authority to take part in this distinguished specific program during the current year of 2010.
In his opening speech of the meeting, H.E. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Deputy Chairman of Emirates ID's Higher Management Committee, has asserted that the Authority is keen for participating in Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program due to its importance and role in spreading the awareness and significance of excellence principles for Emirates ID, particularly in the development of the capabilities necessary for the advancement of excellence in all of its departments, divisions and offices.
H.E. Deputy Chairman of Emirates ID’s Higher Management Committee has clarified that Emirates ID derives its vision, mission and goals from the keystones of this national pioneering program that is careful for providing a platform for the administrative government development, by way of encouraging the conveyance of knowledge and best practices, and endeavors for implanting creativity in the Authority through the acquisition of Knowledge and the support and encouragement of the creative initiatives.
H.E. Hassan Naggati, Advisor to Management Organization and Development in Emirates ID, has made a presentation to the program, including an overview on Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program and its bases of awareness, learning, knowledge transfer, and capability building, in addition to the awards of excellence to the participating ministries, authorities, and federal institutions.
Advisor Hassan Naggati has reviewed the basic principles of excellence and the program vision of superior performance, promotion of excellence practices in the federal government, and the mission sought by the program: stimulating and building excellence elements in the federal government as well as ensuring the accomplishment of superior performance and creative initiatives.
The meeting, attended by the executives and several directors of the Authority, has witnessed an extensive debate on the key issues and subjects in relation to Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program and the participation by the Authority therein.
