H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID GM, stressed that signing the infrastructure agreement of the Population Register with EIMAS is a remarkable movement in the career of Emirates Identity Authority and a distinguished turning point in its endeavor to achieve its objectives and strategic initiatives described in the 2010-2013 strategy launched recently by Emirates ID.
At Wednesday meeting chaired by Al Khouri, with the participation of H.E. Youssef Al Beloushi, service points executive director, H.E. Mohamed Masould Al Mazrouei, Population Register Executive Director, and service points managers in Northern Emirates, Al Khouri explained that the objective of this strategic project is to reach the best and most effective solutions for registering all people in the ID Card and Population Register in a smooth way.
During the meeting, the current status of the PMC project was reviewed and the expected dates of handing the project to EIMAS were discussed.
Before that time, another meeting was held with Datel representatives to follow the progress of work at the Central Audit Office and review the latest developments.
