H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, Vice-Chairman of the Emirates ID's Higher Management Committee, praised the unique auspices of H.H. Lt General Sheikh / Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the vice chairman of the Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates ID), of the ID Conference 2010 which concluded its activities successfully in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday evening.
H.E. Al-Khouri stressed that such auspices added a great moral value since participants highly appreciated his highness's auspices of this important global conference. They also expressed their deep thanks and gratitude for the role played by the Emirates ID and its contribution to the successful conclusion of conference activities.
H.E. Dr. Eng. / Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri explained that Emirates ID's keenness on organizing and hosting such global conferences and events reflects the most important axis of the Emirates ID's new strategy 2010 - 2013 which details will be declared in the upcoming period, God willing.
On the other hand, participants paid a field visit to Al Mushref Registration Center in Abu Dhabi with a view to closely recognizing the mechanism of registration in the ID card and checking the various stages of issuing the ID Card.
Delegation members participated in this visit praised the progress of work at Al Mushref Registration Center. They also expressed their admiration of the development level in Emirates ID's performance and career, especially, those relating to the quality of services provided by the ID card which enjoy a high decree of security.
On its second day, ID Conference 2010 has witnessed a number of specialized work sessions that discussed the most recent issues of ID Cards. Participants reviewed their countries' successful experience in this field.
